Install TimeUno on macOS

TimeUno runs on macOS 11 (Big Sur) and newer.

  1. Download the app from the download page and open the .dmg.
  2. Drag TimeUno into Applications, then open it.
  3. TimeUno lives in the menu bar, with a small always-on-top widget. It has no Dock icon. Click Sign in with your browser and connect it to your account.

Allow Screen Recording

macOS shows window titles only to apps you allow, and screenshots and on-screen text need the same permission. TimeUno shows an Allow Screen Recording card. Click Allow: macOS asks first, and if access still isn’t granted, switch TimeUno on in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen Recording. Then quit and reopen TimeUno.

Nothing is recorded as video. Without the permission, TimeUno sees app names only, plus your AI tools and, with the browser extension, the site you’re on.

Screenshots and on-screen text can be turned off on their own in the app’s Settings under Privacy. See Pause and capture settings.
